Well we have the Scouters looking on and letting the boys run the program. Isn't that the way it's supposed to be?

As the drivers take their positions, the excitement mounts for the race down that long hill in front of them.
Each driver races in all three lanes and these cars look like their being driven by the future Indy 500 winner.

This driver gets his helmet adjusted for his race by Larry Wright, Committee Member of Troop 41. He's ready to take that car down at speeds over 20 miles per hour.

Next to him is Dick Sweeney who has taken the job of waving the checkered flag over from his father, Richard Sweeney Sr. Richard Sweeney Sr. also who waved the checkered flag for the Indy 500 for many years. Next to Richard is Kathlene Sisson, Southern Trails District Commissioner, Assistant Council Commissioner for Potowatomi Area Council, AND the proud mother of Tom Sisson who first started the class "S" as his 1985 Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project
